Two Left

We have only two more games left in the season and if we can pick up the win in both of them we will be the MTAL champions.  The remainding games are agasinst Pacific Grove and the big one is Soledad who we haven't beat this year.  Both games will be good ones and I don't care how we win we just need to find a way to do it.

4 Wins Away From the MTAL Championship

After a long season we are just four games away from being the MTAL champions.  The problem is there is only four games left to play.  The teams we are playing are Greenfield, Stevenson, Pacific Grove, and Soledad.  Winning these teams will bring us the first MTAL championship baseball team since the 1994 team.  Winning the MTAL will also get us a very good seed in playoffs which is important for us this year because we think we have a chance to go deep into the playoffs and win it.  But we just need to take things one game at a time, and it start today against Greenfield.

1st Place

Were at the half way point in our league schedule and we have been playing really well.  Right now we are in 1st place at an 8-1 record, one game in front of Carmel who we have to play one more time this year.  We haven't played Soledad at all this year so we still have to play them three times this year which will lickily decide whether we will win league this year because they are tied for second with Carmel.  We have a great oppurtunity to win league this year as we go into the final half of our season.

Game Against Carmel

This tuesday we have a very big away game agianst the reigning MTAL champions.They have already lost to Soledad so beating them both times this week will drop their chances of repeating tremendously.  Beating them should be something that we can do as long as we dont have errors and we hit like we have been hitting.  This series against Carmel can make or break our season and whether we will win MTAL this year because usually you cant lose more than 2 league games if you want to win league.

Scrimmage against Live Oak High School

Last Saturday we had a scrimmage against Live Oak who we lost to last year.  Since it was only a Scrimmage we went 10 innings so we could get the most out of the drive.  We won the game 18-13, we were a lot better than they were this year and we could of beat them by a lot more if it was a real game.  We did good as a team and we found out what we needed to work so we will be ready for our first game against North Monterey County.
